Hello, fellow food-lovers of Massachusetts! We are thrilled to join Food Day 2012 and the organizations working together to bring fresh, healthy and sustainable foods to our communities!
We would like to introduce to you KickinKitchen.TV – a totally new recipe for cooking and nutrition entertainment and education for children (ages 8-15). KickinKitchen.TV is a sitcom-style TV and Web series that mashes together cooking, comedy, and hip music. – It’s Glee for food! Our multimedia platform aims to revolutionize the food and health culture by providing kids, teens and families with the tools and inspiration to make healthy lifestyle choices.
One hundred seventy young actors from Massachusetts were auditioned to create an all-star cast, including cooking superstar, Reyna, who dreams of being America’s first Top Teen Chef and her three best friends – Stacy, Max and Devon. Together, they produce their own online healthy cooking show, and the next thing they know- it goes viral…getting attention from all types of peeps, including famous celebrities like Chef Daniel Boulud and NFL player, Greg Jennings!
KickinKitchen.TV takes on issues such as cafeteria food, sugary drinks, the importance of eating breakfast, and how to create the perfect Gaga bacon dress. Bet you want to see that! Check out our freshest episode “No Breakfast No Bueno” airing in 13,000 NYC taxicabs and on NYC Life (Channel 25) as part of our partnership with NYC Mayor’s Office. Find out what happens to Devon when he ditches breakfast to prepare for his upcoming wrestling match! The result is definitely not award winning!
Visit our interactive website where kids can share recipes, upload videos and photos, enter contests, and play games.
